Online booking opens 72 hours ahead, so every session gets proper preparation.
You can reschedule or cancel yourself up to 7 days before your session.
Retainers, refunds and rescheduling are covered in full by your session agreement.

Common questions.
Do you cover both the ceremony and reception? +
Yes. Wedding Essentials covers six hours of core wedding-day coverage — getting ready, ceremony, portraits and reception. Signature and Premier extend that to eight and ten hours. Additional coverage is $400 per hour subject to availability.
What is an engagement session and do I need one? +
An engagement session is a separate portrait session for the two of you before the wedding — a relaxed, pressure-free way to work with Omar and see what the experience is like. It's available as a standalone session starting at $450, and couples with a signed wedding contract receive preferred pricing — Engagement Essential at $400 and Signature Engagement at $550.
How far in advance should we reserve our date? +
As early as possible. Weekend dates in May–August and November–December fill fastest. Many couples reserve 6–12 months out. Same-month availability exists but is not guaranteed — call to check current openings.
Do you work with elopements and courthouse ceremonies? +
Absolutely, and they are now two separate experiences. Courthouse Wedding coverage is $850 for 90 minutes — ceremony plus couple and immediate-family portraits. The Elopement Experience is $1,250 for 2.5 hours and adds a planning call and a sneak peek. Both are request-only so we can confirm timing and venue rules first.
Can we add video to our wedding coverage? +
Yes. Photo + Video collections start at $4,800 for six hours and include a dedicated videographer alongside your photographer. Every photo + video booking is request-only — the collection is confirmed once the required crew is available and named in your quote.
What happens if there is an emergency on our date? +
Omar has never missed a wedding. In the extremely unlikely event of an emergency, Ready Set Shoot will offer a replacement photographer if one can be arranged, or issue a full refund of everything you have paid. The terms are set out in your Services Agreement.
